Strategic Project and Operations Manager (f/m/x)

Nuventura has developed a new generation of electrical switchgear that is highly innovative and environmentally sustainable which it now industrializes for scaling globally. For this step we want to hire a sympathetic and driven Strategic Project and Operations Manager (f/m/x) to complement our operations team. The Strategic Project and Operations Manager (f/m/x) will collaborate with the management to conceptualize, plan and execute business strategies, manage parts of our business operations and guarantee efficient processes and setups in alignment with the company's development stages towards becoming a global technology provider.


As part of the role, you will touch financial, legal, people related, operational and international development aspects of nuventura’s path to succeed in its future growth. For this key success factors will be working across departments to align teams, set goals, execute strategic initiatives and improve processes.

What will you be responsible for?

  • You will manage projects of high strategic relevance and with P&L impact

  • Your projects range from (re-)organization via operational process excellence to implementing something completely new from scratch

  • You will be accountable for timely and high-quality implementations across the business

  • You will become the owner of our company budget and budgeting process including all steps from process definition, management alignment, tool utilization and/ or selection, its setups, gathering data from relevant Stakeholders and finalization

  • You will be the driving force in guiding the management smoothly through important business meetings, like Board Meetings, important Partner development processes, etc. This means that you prepare such meetings, generate action items based on the meetings outcome and continuously drive the following execution process. By doing this you are extremely self-organized, reliable and a very good and engaging communicator

  • You will conceptualize strategic business decisions and make them execution ready

  • You will have an end-to-end responsibility for your short- and long-term projects from briefing, over analysis, creation of concepts, presenting your findings, providing an execution plan and proactively driving its realization

  • You will interpret and translate the company vision into objectives within your own sphere of influence independently

  • You will be a main force in driving collaboration amongst the team by bringing stakeholders together

  • For the future we aim to make you ready for representing nuventura at relevant working groups, policy workshops, and other strategically relevant external events

What you need to bring into the company?

  • You have +5 years of experience in building business units from scratch and/or have been part of a project team managing business critical projects on a company wide scale

  • You are experienced in compiling strategic analysis as well deriving short and long-term action items

  • You have outstanding analytical, quantitative, and conceptual skills

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering, Business, Economics, or equivalent with a proven track record in high-quality problem solving, project management and analysis in a previous role

  • You are able to take initiative and apply a can-do mentality. Even if you do not see the final result in front of you from the start, you get going, you use good judgement and you understand deadlines

  • You can carry multiple projects through to completion even with interruption

  • You are an authentic and mission-driven person who does not shy away from sparring with the management

  • You are a good collaborator and show a cooperative work style

  • You are fluent in written and oral English and German and have excellent writing and communication skills
