Production Manager (f/m/x)

Nuventura has developed a new generation of electrical switchgear that is highly innovative and environmentally sustainable, which it now industrializes for scaling globally. While the company continues to develop new products with its R&D department, it now ramps up its production capability to meet growing demand for its already developed products.

While Nuventura's business model builds on licensing its technology to manufacturers around the globe, the company also supplies core components of the technology to such manufacturers. Additionally, Nuventura also manufactures full products for its home markets.

As Production Manager (f/m/x), you will play a vital role in transforming our type-tested prototypes into fully industrialized products capable of serial production. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will work cross-functionally to ensure that the quality and standards of our products are maintained, even when produced in different locations by various partners.

What will you be responsible for?

Align Production with Demand: Collaborate closely with sales and project management teams to synchronize production schedules with market demand and customer requirements.
Optimize Plant Performance: Evaluate overall plant effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as resource utilization, output, time tracking, scrap rate, yield rate, and non-conformities.
Production Planning & Improvement: Support production management in strategic planning and implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity.
Project Coordination: Coordinate projects with Quality Control (QC), Research & Development (R&D), Technology, and Engineering departments to drive innovation and maintain high standards.
Supply Chain Management: Ensure timely supply chain operations by predicting delays and arranging rework to meet production needs without compromising on quality.
Safety & Compliance: Implement safety measures and procedures for testing equipment, and support audit processes for standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Training & SOP Development: Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials, and conduct employee training to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Design Integration: Collaborate with the design team to integrate design changes and modifications, enhancing product robustness and providing feedback on industrialization aspects.
Partner Collaboration: Manage requirements and maintain effective communication with production partners, addressing aspects such as timeline adherence, quality control, safety protocols, resource management, and training.

What do you need to bring into the company?

Master’s degree in production engineering, industrial engineering, automation engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in production engineering or a similar role in the switchgear industry.
Profound knowledge of switchgear products, assembly, operations and application.
In-depth knowledge of BOM development, quality control, and assembly processes.
Experience in managing relationships with production partners and suppliers.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication abilities in both German and English.
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering industrialization projects.
