Internship Institutional Financial Advocacy (ESG) (f/m/x)

Nuventura has developed a new generation of electrical switchgear - a key hardware component of electricity grids - that is highly innovative and environmentally sustainable, which it now industrializes for scaling globally.


Part of facilitating our vision is to interact with financial institutions and policymakers in order to generate awareness of SF6 and its tremendously high impact on climate change. For this, we want to hire a communication genius who engages with relevant Stakeholders and educates financial institutions to acknowledge SF6 in their procurement guidelines / environmental standards. 


The aim is to make the hidden visible, and lead Institutions to prioritize the deployment of SF6-free switchgear in financed infrastructure projects. As nuventura’s Institutional Financial Advocacy Intern, you fill a crucial role in terms of research, networking and educating such institutions.


To be successful in this role, you need to deeply understand and adopt our vision. You need to have very good research and communication skills while being highly organized, authentic and personable.

What will you be responsible for?

  • You will conduct research into how financial institutions develop procurement guidelines and environmental standards     

  • You will identify relevant institutions to contact     

  • You will utilize LinkedIn, press releases, case studies, and the internet to identify the best contact person to reach out to

  • You will prepare, participate in and eventually lead introductory meetings with relevant

      departments within financial institutions

  • You will serve as main point of contact for financial institutions

  • You will work closely with the Project Manager to develop strategy

  • You will, depending on interest and capacity, be involved in various different commercial activities


What do you need to bring into the company?

  • You have, or are working towards, a university degree in Business, Political Science or related field

  • You are flexible and execution-oriented

  • You bring openness and are fun to work with

  • Despite tight schedules and being under pressure, you are an engaging and trusted colleague and partner

  • Ideally, you have experience in the energy or ESG space

  • Your English language skills  (C1) are a must. Additional language skills are welcome, especially German

  • You impress by precise communication and the ability to deliver timely
