Internship in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Supply Chain and Production (f/m/x) 

Nuventura has developed a new generation of electrical switchgear that is highly innovative and environmentally sustainable, which it now industrializes for scaling globally. While the company continues to develop new products with its R&D department, it now ramps up its production capability to meet growing demand for its already developed products.  


While Nuventura's business model builds on licensing its technology to manufacturers around the globe, the company also supplies core components of the technology to such manufacturers. Additionally, Nuventura also manufactures full products for its home markets. 


We have a lot of plans in the pipeline and thus are looking for a new, committed colleague for our supply chain team. If you want to make a sustainable contribution to saving the environment and its inhabitants, then come and join us on our mission. 

 

What will you be responsible for? 

 

  • You will support our supply chain activities from raising POs, to keeping in touch with suppliers, monitoring deliveries and keeping the ERP system and team always up to date regarding the supply chain process.

  • You will support the creation of technical documents such as quality inspection reports and product assembly procedures as requested by our product manager. 

  • You will document work processes comprehensively, clearly and with the necessary eye for detail.

  • You will support in keeping documentations in of our ERP system up to date. 

  • You will support the processes of inventory planning and management and the implementation of additional feature in the ERP system.

  • You will support cooperation with local suppliers of tools and components. 

 

What do you need to bring into the company? 

 

  • You are studying for a master’s degree in mechanical engineering/ production / industrial engineering, or a comparable technical field of study and have a minimum of one year of experience after bachelors. 

  • You are required to do a mandatory internship of ideally 6 months.

  • You ideally have experience in hardware development.

  • If you have already gained some knowledge of CAD programs (preferably Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks or NX) it is a plus.

  • You have strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills. You do not let go until the problem is solved. 

  • You work reliably and maintain confidence and overview during peak workloads.

  • You learn to become independent and know how to ask specific questions and find solutions when things get stuck.

  • You have a distinct technical understanding, and it is easy for you to understand technical drawings.

  • You have very good written and spoken German and English (at least B2).
