Operations and ESG Manager (m/f/x) 

Nuventura has developed a new generation of medium voltage switchgear that is highly innovative and environmentally sustainable. The existing product line is currently being rolled out to a global supply chain and manufacturing process and also expanded in scope through further R&D projects. For this expansion we are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Operations and ESG Manager (m/f/x) who can implement, monitor and streamline our ambitious standards along the full value chain of our product and in an international setup.

You will... 

 

  • play a crucial role in generating interdisciplinary and governance across all teams 

  • become a major influencer for decision making in how we build teams, how we take care of our people, how we ensure sustainable growth, protect the planet, strategize, which investments we do and so forth 

  • be the managements guiding force on any ESG matter 

  • be the starting point and number one got to for ESG related implementations across our holding structure 

  • bring teams together, streamline projects and ensure proper communication and goal achievements as ESG only works with the engagement of everyone – internally and externally 

  • be the sparring partner to the management around aligning company goals and strategy with ESG 

  • make ESG a natural thing across the nuventura group so that everyone is aware of it and values it 

  • continuously monitor what we can improve regarding people management, what we do to our planet, how we report towards our investors,….. 

  • implement an efficient ESG management system including policies, procedures, and guidelines 

  • in general support and specifically manage the due diligences on all business unit's regarding ESG policies 

  

What you need to bring in: 

​

  • Minimum of 5-years of experience in operations with a focus on ESG (for some time), preferably in a growth environment 

  • Knowledge and experience in global environmental standards and frameworks 

  • Experience in designing or redesigning processes from an operational perspective and in specific regarding ESG  

  • Experience with ESG and sustainability from working with venture capital investors is a plus 

  • A background in natural sciences, engineering, sustainability management, international management or law is a plus
